this year?....absolutly no idea yet :tears-of-joy:

going to be weird since we are staying at home at cooking for ourselves for once instead of going to one of the kids houses

but it will probably be turkey with the trimmings
          Per Ardua

We'll ride the spiral to the end and may just go where no ones been

Got to be turkey with all the trimmings. Trimmings have to include pigs in blankets, braised red cabbage, sprouts with chestnuts, good gravy, and cranberry sauce. This is followed by plum pudding with custard and cream.....
Missed out last year because I was ill, so this year is being anticipated with real relish!

It looks as if it will be Turkey and Pork cooked at home, seeing as how our President has cancelled Christmas. All restaurants, bars and other places of entertainment have been closed until the end of the year to try and keep a lid on this damned covid.

I hadn't thought about it! Turkey is OK, but the last few years I've managed to try a few different things - I had Duck last year, and the last time I went to a works Xmas dinner, I surprised people by going vegetarian! Cooking for one is no problem, but you don't ( at least I don't ) want to be rehashing leftovers for the next few days. I have a small Christmas Pud, as a once a year treat, already. I may go for a fancy curry this year...................

I have no idea what we're having this year. I'll be at work until at least midday. Livestock still need to be fed and watered whatever time of year it is.

It'll just be nice to get a warm meal after being outside. As long as there is meat on the menu. None of this vegetarian or vegan guff for me

I would be happy with a boiled egg and soldiers. I just want to get there!

As I don't do Xmas - or fish or fowl - I guess I'll be sticking to my usual three course meal of bread, butter and jam. I might liven up the festivities on Xmas morning though with a three course breakfast of cereal, milk and sugar - but only if I feel up to the strain of all the preparation!
