They are superb for brush painting Mark. Not tried them for airbrushing though.

Work great for both Tim. I sprayed them over the Vallejo primer and it looked great. Have a look here for results

I'm with Alan and Tim on those Mark. They are great to use and cover good with no smell. Also good to see that you and your wallet are on speaking terms again....

Seeing as I sold 4 more kits on evilbay, I decided to treat myself. NO, no kits..........Accessoires were the order of the day. First up were some dry transfers from Archer for my build(s),

100 years ago, I had Letraset dry transfers for my Braille kits and loved them. Hope these are as good. And then (Alan, close your eyes now, unless you have this set too),

            Hi Allen,

I've got one set of the Archer transfers. As you say just like Lestraset. It's about five years since i used them but don't recall any major issues.

            ATB.

Why so cheap? - It doesn't have a box - you can get some good finds, if you add 'no box' or 'damaged box' to your searches on ebay. No good it you're a collector, or wanting to give it as a present, but welcome for a builder ( but check description to ensure complete/sealed bags )

Not sure about archer transfers, but I know some rub down transfers can go “off” with time. They seem to lose their stickiness and don’t rub down reliably. Worth checking before you use them again Andrew.

Will bear that in mind. Had them for 5 years +..... But unlikely to use them again, at least for the foreseeable future.

Archer claimed to be the best in the business in this respect, and that’s also the reason they’ve stopped making dry transfers not that long ago: the necessary materials are no longer available. However, my (limited) experience with them is that some don’t want to come off the sheet at all, but I have no idea what caused this. Maybe the sets were too old, maybe they weren’t made correctly, or something else?

Last time i used enamels was a long, long time ago!!

Bought these for Tamiya KGV, Tamiya's scheme is miles off and colour coats do a huge amount of research, seems KGV had a grey bum as well. On there site i have printed off the correct scheme.

Just arrived on our door mat:

It's SWMBO's Christmas gift. Not really a kit, but needs some building anyway as interchangeable heads, eyes and hands are provided.
The gift comes from my usual model shop and it seems that some "extras" found their way into the shipping box...:rolling:

After my positive experience with the red primer on the Ariete MBT, I ordered a second rattle can, black.
The kit was on Christmas sale, 10,80 € so... why not.:hugging-face: At first sight the plastic is not bad, the destruction leaflet :surprised:... well... it's Christmas time...:smiling4:.
                              Andrea.

Despite using cheap masking tape to label sprues, i am still tired of going through the box to find a certain sprue, especially Dragon kits

It has 13 compartments so ideal for many sprues, should save time and stress:thumb2:
