I found the paper colours a little bit bland so added some acrylic shading to mine. Looking forward to seeing how they turn out

Bought 2 more books in a museumshop in Brussels (not in English though).
One for reference, the other to pass time on the train...

The ICM Opel Admiral Saloon in 1/35 - cost <£14 delivered. Parts, decals, Instructions all complete. BUT no box
You can find some bargains, if you add 'no box', or 'damaged box' to your search term. Obviously no good for a pressie, but if you're just a builder, like me manna from heaven!!

The last ten bismarck magazines still have six to find which seem to be out of circulation.
So I will have a dig around the old interweb and see what I can find out what's in the missing issues and see if I can replicate them. Click image for larger version

                      Good morning all

So it turns out having the Ali Express app on my phone is a baaaaaaddddddd idea...... :sad-face: :crying:

                      -----------------------------------

Having received M3A3 Stuarts for Junior's forces via AliExpress, these Dingo's miraculously turned up yesterday. Good service from the seller, although delivery took a bit longer than the Stuarts at 3 weeks, not that that is that bad from China!

Having had significant reinforcements for his British forces, I felt it only fair my German forces received some reinforcements. Very well packed as usual and only 8 days from China, so arrived the day before the Dingos.

I think you will agree there are an entirely proportional purchase when compared to 4 Stuarts and 4 Dingos...... As usual I ordered some metal barrels, at a very good price from a UK model supplier.

The only downside to the spate of arrivals is that, upon ordering these Jagdpanthers, I discovered all of the Ali Express orders came from the same seller, so if I'd been a bit more systematic I could have saved myself a bit on P&P....:tired:...oh well.

it always is a good idea to 'add to cart', rather than 'buy it now' whether on ebay, or aliexpress! that way you can be sure of getting p&p discounts...............

Indeed!! It was just unfortunate that I decided to buy the three items about 2 weeks apart from each other basically on a whim....if I'd been a bit more patient then I'd have been ok.
