Well, and the two figures on the left are more ca. 1970s to present. Still, very useful figures, if you ask me.
Agree with you. Don't think the people in that area dress had changed much from the 50's, lots of low income people.

Revell seem to have a habit of sliding out releases without much fanfare - but probably since these are reboxings

.........and this is a repop of the ICM model.
If you are in the market for either of these models, it pays to check prices on the original & the Revell versions - just a quick look, and you can find some good savings!

I have a modelling friend whose an Airforce military attache who is now stationed in Moscow. His discovery that Russian made kits are really cheap there and the postage out to other countries is rather expensive. There's no direct mailing via China if you want to go that route... so the reason for the price differences in reboxing could be because manufacturing outside of Russia could discount the extra distribution cost. Just assuming.

                          Cheers,
                          Richard

Don't get too excited - this is from the Dragon moulds - at least Zvezda are open about it.............

That’s a bit disappointing — on seeing the box I expected a new kit of Zvezda’s current quality, which would have beaten the 30-year-old Dragon kit hands down.

Their actual wording was "based on Dragon molds", which could be taken a few ways.

I suppose we could hope for a new tool using the old ones as a reference, but somehow I doubt it.
