51 parts, for a 1/72 snap together? The Zvezda 1/144 aircraft are nice little models, I've never seen a Zvezda 1/72 snap together, might be worth a look?

There's gotta be a market for seated pilots for all eras, popular nationalities and scales. Trouble is that the seats are so different it would be hard to create a set of one-size-fits-all legs. Even some pilot figures supplied as part of a kit won't fit properly.

Not to mention that a set with pilots from three different nations means two of them will go entirely unused for many people.

Good point Jakko. I suppose you'd have the same problems if you released a set of same nationality figures in different scales or different eras. Individual figure releases could be the way, but I suspect they would have to be expensive as packaging and distribution costs would be proportionally higher.
Maybe we should be trying to persuade manufacturers to include pilots with the 'plane kits. It would increase the price but probably less than separate figures would cost.

When it says '2 in 1', I'm not sure whether it means 2 turrets or you can make either turret..............

Interesting to see that it is licensed by Boeing!

I suspect it means you have two choices for the aerial/washing line/whatever thingie on the top, depending on whether you want to make the No. 1 or No. 4 turret.

Hi Dave,
I have their 88mm Flak 36/37 and 2 of their 3" British mortar and crew, both designed for their Art of Tactic wargame series, which are all snap together.
The sculpting on the mortar crew figures is outstanding and the 88 is even better. I've never seen another 1/72 88 in the flesh so I have nothing to compare it to but if that is anything to go by, then the Hurricane should be a complete joy to build.
