I wonder what the “special edition” is this time from MiniArt, because that’s definitely an older set that I have used some figures from already.Comment

The Border Models Facebook page has a long statement about the 1/32 Lancaster. It seems that there are legal proceedings in place by the Wingnut Wings owner, Peter Jackson of theft of the moulds & theft of intellectual property by Border Models. How this will affect the release of the model is anybodies guest!!!
You can read the full spiel, from Borders point of view, on their Facebook page, but nothing on their website yet................

Not for us to comment really, it’s for the legal system to sort out. However, as I understand from what I’ve read, no assets from WNW have been sold on. The Meng triplane was a joint venture I think.
If Jackson is citing “theft” then perhaps the moulds weren't bought from the legal owners in the first place.Comment

Silly question I know, but what did Wingnut Wings think that Border was going to do with their moulds when they bought them? Can anyone think of another use other than weighing them in as scrap? In which case they'd probably turn out to be the most expensive scrap ever bought!
