Hi Dave little look at it on the modeling news web page shows it in Moscow sports club livery 37-41 so perhaps a civil truck press ganged into millitary service?.

It has a WH plate in the box art, which seems to indicate a vehicle pressed into German Army service (WH = Wehrmacht Heer). Maybe there was a production line in Russia making these, or perhaps it was just a one-off built by a local garage?

Tow/lift gear looks similar to that used on 38t Bergepzr. Likely Ostfront field expedient IMHO (no bed or rear fenders). PaulE

The 'Engines of...............' website has been steadily updating, and is well worth a look, there have been some interesting additions in the 'Western Armies > Campaigns' section.... https://www.o5m6.de/
There are some interesting pictures, in all the sections, good ideas for weathering, dioramas etc.

The ICM 2021 Catalougue is available for down load https://icm.com.ua/catalog/ mid right of page
                    Just flipping through - highlights
                    1/32 AH-1G Cobra -
                    1/48 Gotha 242 Glider, Beaufort Mk.I, B-26K Vietnam Invader, OV-10 Bronco
1/35 Marder I, G7107 US Truck & also with Katyusha, Model T Firetruck, Laffly V15T
1/24 British Bobby, British Marine Officer
                    More reboxings & combined boxings
The real surprise is that Laffly - rather obscure Frenchie - I wonder if a towed anti tank gun is in the pipeline?

I would love a 1:32 scale AH-1G … but where to keep the thing?

Dang it...I haven't built my 1/72 Beaufort and now one is coming out in 1/45. I'm sure the OV-10 Bronco has the right spacing between the hull and engine nacelles. The old Testors kit measurements are short.

                            Cheers,
                            Richard

I've only recently cottoned on to Copper State Models and they do some very unusual subjects that interest me a lot. That one is no exception.
