I've got both so isn't new to me but if it had come out in that form I would have saved a bit of cash.

Hmmm not bad detail for 1/72 - and it is a 'snap together' model - notice that there are two pilots - the model will have RAF and Soviet AF decals.............

A new version of the 1:32 Revell P-51D is going to be released. It's the Late version to go along with their Early version that is already available.

Weak story line - original was Bogart as a US tank commander during the retreat from El Alamein, no water so must find some in the desert. Pick up mixed bag of nationalities/ personalities as they go - oh, and fight the dastardly Nazis on the way! All live happily ever after as the water fairy smiles benevolently on them just in time!

I recall it having quite a few nice shots of the interior, good for reference.

I would have liked the ICM Beaufort but it took me so long to find one in 1/72 scale so will build that. Nice looking plane though and I prefer it to the Boston unfortunately not as famous having most of it's operations in the Far East.
