Be interesting to see the price of this, when it arrives! - and I bet it says something like 'further items will have to be purchased to complete the model as illustrated' on the side of the box................

That’s a huge parts count for something just over four inches long….

I'm always puzzled by the Airfix marketing strategy - this was released in 2011, was available for a short while, then went out of production & disappeared off the shelves. A look at ebay & 2nd hand sites gives collectors prices, so there is a demand, why wait ten years before reissuing albeit with decal changes ( parts as well? ), has sales of the 1/72 Vulcan kickstarted this reissue? This can apply to several Airfix releases................

I have to agree Dave, there's quite a few smaller planes I've looked at recently where I've discovered that exact problem....

Could be that the initial moulding run doesn’t sell as quickly as expected so they wait for demand to build up before repopping it Dave.

That, really, is probably what would make this kit worth buying instead of all the other StuGs that are already available.

Might be fun to make it as this particular vehicle:

Hmmm - Paris region? Next being Alsace? Normandy? or even maybe German concrete road signs?
