    Removing sticky residue

    While building my next titanic I have use double sided tape on the second layer of planking while it has come away cleanly it has left a sticky residue any idea how to remove it bearing in mind that it is on wood

        you should find the lighter fluid doesn't affect the wood

          Just don't go near it with a lit cigarette otherwise......

            Acetone is also used to remove residue, doesn't affect wood as far as I know.

              If those don’t work, try meths or white spirit. It’s simply a matter of finding the right solvent....

                I just tried some tamiya extra thin cement it seems to work but I will find out in the morning
