    Glue Removal

Hi all, help needed, I accidently had some Roket Max glue on my finger and then tapped my tablet screen and now have a smear on the screen, any ideas on how to remove it without damaging the screen further. Really p****d off viking.

Apparently acetone works according to this link

But would have thought that tablet screens were glass so you could just scrape off with a razor blade

In the first instance I would try a razor blade if the screen is glass.

I’d let it dry overnight then try and scrape it off with a fingernail in the first instance. Superglue can be quite brittle. Acetone might damage the screen, but if that’s all you have left it’s worth a try. Just use a minimal amount and test it in a corner of the glass first. Test off of the visible part of the screen if possible.

Hi, thanks for the replies, hadn't thought of scraping off with a razor blade, but I tried it and I'm now a very happy viking, it worked a treat I then used a glass cleaner to finish it off, my screen now looks better than ever, thanks guys you came up trumps, yet again, was worried what my wife would say certainly better than buying a new one.
