HI Lee i love the prime mover an as for containes i spent 15 yrs or so making up the steel frames for the containers for FRUEHAUF an the big frigde vans makin up the leg gear an bump bars an the treble axle sub frames but that a story an a half so leave it there

In my varied jobs, I used to work for a P&I club. The first thought I had when I saw the Suez news was that's going to cost. 400million a week it turns out!
The amount of boxes being held up IS going to effect us all. Lets face it 90% of the things in your home if you look on the bottom or the back says made in china! Might be a good thing for European manufactures though...
As an aside I have also had "a go" at driving one of those Container trucks/loaders. Apart from being great fun it was a bit nerve racking. Also tried one for pipe laying moving. We're talking 1m dia 15m long steel pipe. Much the same as the container movers, you just have to be careful where you put them down. (If they roll toward you not to bad, if they roll away.... not so good.)Comment
