A very sad loss to the nation, and most of all to our Queen.

                  Just my opinion obviously,but........
I think this is a key moment for England,(I would, and should, be able to say...... the UK!!!.....,however,many ,many people are hell bent on breaking up the union),I just hope Queenie can survive the passing of her Life long Rock......... uncertain times sure lie ahead!
"Thank you Phil" for all of your humour(,which i particularly enjoyed over the years),and dedication over the years,
A spot on ,no nonsense,guy.... we need MORE of those types in this messed up,confused, and basically WRONG society!! :dizzy:
R.I.P. The Duke Of Edinburgh....... you absolute STAR Sir

Such a sad day for the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth,
Whether you liked HRH or not, you can't take it away from him that he has served not only the Queen, but also this country without pause or question for the whole of his life... How many other people can say that they've done that ?

                      Rest easy Sir,
                      Your mission is done..

Not a total shock given his recent medical history. But still a very sad day for the UK. No doubt some anti-monarchists will be a little happier. I for one though am a total royalist and was proud to serve my Queen and country for 17 years.

RIP Sir. Keep them ship shape and fair winds to you in the after life.

My former Colonel in Chief, I had the honour to meet him on our return from the Gulf War in 1991. A very open man when surrounded by the military.
