Yesterday. Crunch day. Cavity Key Hole Day had arrived.
Just 3/4 of one model making day lost to "donating my Gall Bladder". This has to be a record.
7:30am Up early (for me). Cleaned room airbrushes etc.. No food (darn it) cup of tea 25% milk they said :rolling:
11:00am Went into hospital. Faffing about I was asked date birth, name what procedure I was having continually in 2 hours.
Consultant relayed to me all that could go wrong. :astonished: Thoughtfull of him. Thankfully he missed out the death bit. :flushed:
1:00 pm Oh utter Sacriledge. All those operated on in the morning & day before sat in bed eating lunch while I & one other looked on "starving to death".:worried:
4:30pm Operation under way. Oh yipee. Text book apparently. Nurse told me the medics & nurses considered I looked 70 rather than 82. Totally agreed.
Now not sure here if they meant my body or looks. By non elemination both I suppose :tears-of-joy::tongue-out::tongue-out3:
6:00pm Things looking up food 6:00pm soup & salad tuna & egg sandwiches (no fats) Yogurt. Absolutly top fare delicious.
7:30pm. Vital signs checked before delivery home. Yep still breathing. Discharged youngest daughter summoned to be transport.
8:00pm Home. Bowl of soup & a slice of bread. Non 000% beer : promise.
11:00 pm Appetite I thought needed further testing, scientific thought. So constructed a little gem lettuce sandwich. Kind made one for Pauline plus 2 radishes.
today Back to model making today. Tut missed 3/4 of a day yesterday. :tongue-out3::tongue-out2::tongue-out3:
All my troubles now seem so far away sorry beetles t
Puzzled what happened to my preciously gifted Gall Bladder they're not giving it back. Did not even get a brief visual. :disappointed:
