    HI ALL again just had an email from tony's wife an poor Tony is back in hospital again with more problems as he got very confused an the docs dont know what the trouble is so they are goin to give him an mri scan on his brain so lets hope its only for a short term an he gets better

                    HI all well ive had a email from Tony's wife an im very sad to be the bearer of sad news but i dont think we will see Tony again on here as he has gone down very quickly He has been diagnosed with vascular dementia. an now cannot do things for his self an docs are trying to help him get a better out come but its not looking to good im very sad to say but lets all remember him in our thoughts :sad::sad::sad:

                      Very sad news indeed Chris. My prayers go to his family at this time and hope that he eventually pulls through.

                      I have to realise that this may happen often as this forum consists of a lot of retirees pushing past 60 or more and are not sports oriented meaning most sit hours on end behind a work table building kits. It does keep the mind healthy but do go out and exercise a little please.

                        YES Tony was a really nice gent an i think we will all miss him as i had some good coversations with him on his big bridge an railway but he will not now be able to do anymore hobbies so very sad i am

                            Please pass on my best wishes to Tony's family. If I recall correctly my grandmother had it and it can come on relatively quickly. Very sad news indeed. As you say shame we will never get to see the rail layout or Spitfire completed.

                              That’s awful news. I’m sure the medical people will do the best they can for him, so i hope they can at least stabilise the situation and get him back home with his family. Let his wife know we’re all thinking of him please..
