A big tip of my hat to you and Pauline Sir!!! And a lot of respect too Laurie. 60 years is a long time I must say....

Mine only lasted 26 years, but I have 2 wonderful boys, 25 and almost 31, who turned out fantastic. Both hard working, level headed and standing on their own two feet. I never had to pick them up from the police station either. I love them more than anything....

        Prost to you both

Thanks Allen very nice comments indeed.

          Two girls two boys.

Eldest got drunk one day in town. Just asleep on the pavement. His mate asked the police if they could take him home.
They did their home. The Police Station. Said neve wanted to go there again in very graphic & verbal tones.

Congratulations. My folks made it to 57 years before my Mum passed away.

Carol and I have only got 17 years under our belts due to being late starters but we still laugh with, and at, each other everyday.

If we make 60 years I'll be 97. And Carol will have had enough of me I'm sure.

            All the best

Ah thanks Dan & Carol. very nice. We were early starters at 22. Very naive but that was the beauty of it all.

Yes some times we sit TV off & have sueperb fun & laughs of what has gone before.

Ha ha 97. Well i keep saying this I am going for 100, just like Captn Tom, then I will rethink on the next target. :tongue-out:

You would think but my wife and I both got it as well as my oldest Daughter in November. I got Pneumonia on both lungs and still fighting the post Covid symptoms although I’ve went back to work and trying to live a normal life most days I’m short of breath and coughing it still reminds me of what Covid did to me and change my life. Thank God I have this small piece of 10 acres of Heaven to reside at and my family and friends like you and others on this forum in my life.

                    Wow Lee not good.

Bazarre. Jersey is only 9*5miles with 110,000 escaped so far although we both had jabs in January.

Went in Novemeber to eldest daughters with Pauline on my 82nd birthday.

48 hours later phone rings both Karen & Phil had covid. Caught it a few days before my birthday.
We were there about 6 hours in a middle sized room. Yet neither of us caught it.

Hope all improves soon for you Lee.

Thanks Lee. Ha ha must have one of those with out realizing it.

You must be near the tank museum. Visited a couple of time when up that way. Also "Lawrence (aurance) of Arabia" fames house.

Very nice county. But then England Scotland & Wales are just beautiful where ever you go & so varied. People not bad either
                      Especially those in "Surrey" :smiling:

Yep, I'm about 45 minutes from the museum and go along the same road as Mr Arabias humble cottage.
