    millenium falcon help reqiured

    Hi all,

been a while since I've been on here, been "building up" (get it lol) my experience with model making, built myself 3 testors harleys 1/6th scale, glue and screw, no painting required. then was given a revell easykit of 3 star wars craft (y fighter, x fighter and tie fighter) sorted those out in about an hour each while watching tv. my problems is i went and got what i thought was a good deal on the large revell millenium falcon, the guy sold it me all there except for the instructions, £15 good deal i thought as i had seen on the revell website a photo show on how to build it plus i saw they have a dirty great list of instructions you can download so i thought i would be ok................... can you tell where this is going yet? yep thats right , some instructions for easykits but not the falcon. ive emailed both US and germany revell but got no reply, even looked on youtube but no luck. so I'm wondering if you guys know where i could get my hands on a set of instructions or maybe you have a set you could email me.

    cheers

Hi Rob. If it's the one with the detachable top section so you can see inside, I've got a set of instructions. Send me a PM with your email address and I'll try and scan them for you.

          panic over,

having emailed revell, i was sent a downloaded scan of the instructions i need, now all i have to do is put the thing together.

being a born again newbie to the modeling game and the debarcle with going in both feet first and thinking i knew it all ( tried doing the big spitfire model 1/35?) and failing at the painting hurdle, i figured start back at the beginning again, so done glue n screw and snap together kits. when i feel comfortable with this which i kind of am now, Im gonna need to learn how to paint. this is where I hope I'll have a nice little stash of kits either made or not to practice on.

Im thinking of trying with an airbrush and this sites advice is gonna be very useful, and if theres anyone local to me, their actual hands on experience even personal tuition for a day or two my be required, for a small remuneration of course. unles some one can offer alternative advice.

but anyways, for now, im off to watch star wars - a new hope and get myself in the mood to takle the falcon lol.

          cheers - rob
