    WW1 Stormtrooper bust.

    Hi all,
    Hope everyone’s staying well.
    Just working on this Young Miniatures bust…and this is progress to date.

    The kit does have the figure smoking a pipe but I haven’t decided whether or not to use that as yet.
    Just a question for anyone who might know…. I have painted the shoulder boards with piping on the greatcoat…. Does anybody know if greatcoats had regimental numbers on them as I can only find pictures of them on the field tunic?

                        I don’t know for certain but German uniforms got worse as the the war progressed because of the British naval blockade. That’s why they switched from jackboots to boots and putters. As a latter war stormtrooper he would have lower quality kit.
