erm......same sort of concept but different role..............stugs were assault guns that got pushed into tackling other tanks but were more sort of defensive role,................S-tank was a proper 'tank' from day one, designed to take on other tanks

The M-60 is a late version, by the bogies, A3 maybe, just before adding explosive blocks.

Yep, agreed on all of them, though the M60 is not in South Korean camouflage but in American MERDC (which the South Koreans adopted as well). The M60 looks like its trying to be an M60A3, by the way, and the Abramses the M1A1 variety.

StuGs were assault guns — that’s what “Sturmgeschütz” literally means The first versions were designed and built when Germany was on the offensive, and because of the German cult of the (counter)offensive, they were considered primarily assault weapons even by the end of the war. Of course, you’re right in that they were mainly deployed defensively by then.

As for the Strv 103, for anyone who wants to see what it can do:

That gives the manufacturer as Ocean Metal Factory, Bu Ji Town, Long Gang District, Shenzen, China But there are also importer’s addresses in Minsk (Минск) and Kiev (Київ), so it looks like these are intended for sale in Belarus and Ukraine only.

They are Eaglemoss 1:72 Modern Combat Vehicles. The M60A3 Patton is the US Army Germany 1985 camo pattern. They retail at around a tenner each.

Now you mention that, I notice that name in Cyrillic in the text: Иглмосс (literally “Iglmoss”), followed by the Belarussian resp. Ukrainian spelling for the word “Editions”.
