Chris mate, a cheerful, enthusiastic, and caring person like you will never run out of friends. Try and live in the “now” and enjoy the time you have with your friends. Continually worrying about loss will simply erode the time left and will not change the outcome. Chin up and get that boat built!

At my ancient age tis also true Chris.

I worked with in the construction industry for 50 years

I used to be able to walk down St Helier's main shopping street on a Saturday.
During that walk of 15 minutes I would pass & say hello to half a dozen of those I knew.

And now hardly any. However those I do meet remind me of those I used
to meet. I met one character a few days ago sitting by himself near the harbour.
Imagine that he was alone in the world. A smile when I spoke to him meant a lot. Both
                to him & me.

                Laurie

Glad I could help Chris. You checked in on me every day when I was bloody rough with Covid, always cheering me up, so it’s the least I could do.

Hi Chris, something to worry about the future...I've been meaning to ask, how do you get your ship from upstairs down? You must have a very large stairway...wait a minute...it's in two halves. Now I have to exercise my brain and I'm only just sixty. :smiling2:

                        Cheers,
