      Hi Chris
What a s**t thing to happen. At least you and Jen are ok. As Pete says hopefully you have his reg no. Personally I'd report my concerns to the police.

I would have blocked his exit and called the law, pound to a pinch he was uninsured.

Something similar happened to me a few years back some old side swiped one of my cars with such force it pushed the petrol cap in under the bodywork but the thing was it was 10am bright weather and a clear wide road but still didn't stop luckily some nice work men saw what happened and followed the chap home turns out he was in his 90s still no excuse to drive off.

It's against the law not to provide details after an accident. Quite how this works when someone is not insured ? Let's hope your chap is insured.

That's terrible Chris. Good thing you and Jen are okay. Over here it's compulsory to have insurance coverage or you can't renew your road tax. As long as you know you're on the right of the law, a police report will be entertained and followed through. I always chuckle when the traffic police officer takes out his toy cars from the drawer to help demonstrate the accident when investigating my report. We pay quite a hefty insurance so I don't want to lose my NCB.

                    Cheers,
                    Richard

That's bad luck Chris, thank goodness you and Jen are ok .
Good thing that the other guy blocked the idiot in like that .
Easy to say after what should have been done but your in a state of shock when that happens you can't think clearly.
Hope that he did have insurance and your insurance company stands by you .

Aw, that's horrible mate. Flad to hear you're both OK, but still a rubbish thing to happen. Worth looking at a claim with your insurer if you'tr fully comp. A lot of companies now will pay out for uninsured driver loss. If not you can go through the Motor Insurer's Bereau here - MIB who run a scheme for uninsured loss. Hope you get it sorted OK mate.
