    4000th Post!

I notice I've just reached this milestone - since I joined, it means, on average, 3 posts a day! OK, a lot of those are 'Spots on the Internet' - but I'd just like to thank everyone who contributes to the forum, and makes it such an interesting place to visit!
I also would like to thank John & the moderators for the work that is done to keep the forum up & running.
    Dave

                      Lee,
many years ago, our HR department decided we should all do personalty tests ( allegedly to see if we were in the right position ). This consisted of several written 'tests' and an interview. When the results were produced, I read mine, & went to see the Engineering Director. I gave it to him to read & he burst out laughing. It claimed I was 'reticent', probably unadventurous, and was more comfortable being a follower, than a leader! At that time I was head of a design team, and chaired several committees & had served 12 years in the Merchant Navy...................
He wrote a blistering memo, which was widely circulated, and we never heard any more about HR testing!

Assumptions are the mother of all **** ups!
Since leaving home and finding my feet in the world, yes let's start with my downfall of 5 1/2 years in the RN... voice found, alcohol found and the pleasure of the female found!
Squashed by parents at an early age and 1st wife I've rebuilt again over the years, certainly mentally stronger and vocally strong again... yes current wife does cringe at times! Lol

Anyway this post was yours and I'm no longer going to stand on your feet.
Keep up the good work and your Spots posts!
