Hi all,had a mojo killer this week!
My father a 70 year old full time truck driver and crane operator contracted covid, wasn't a major problem just had to isolate but got an infection from a splinter and had to go hospital for I v antibiotics, was absolutely fine day one, doctors expected a speedy recovery and home soon, two days later he was on a ventilator and being moved to intensive care and family was call ed because he may not make it, we never got the chance to say goodbye as he suffered a massive heart attack before they moved him and he couldn't be resuscitated, he was sedated so didn't really suffer at any point and it was quick.was a big shock to all as I thought I would end up retiring before he gave up work.lol . He was one them old school grafters who just got on and never complained or felt sorry for himself, could always find a laugh no matter how bad things where. Was much loved and will be missed by many.
He passed away on remembrance day which to me is a nice finish somehow.
Sorry for the long post but writing this down feels therapeutic regardless of anyone reading it! Modelling does take mind off of a lot of crap that's why I enjoy it so hopefully I'll be back boring everyone with my build threads soon .
