    Hi Dave
That's great. Shows the meds are doing their job. Just take it easy for a while though.

      Thanks Jim,
      I suspect that I'm eating a bit more/better ( I'd lost my appetite ) is also a factor!

That's good news Dave, 10 tablets is already half your meal plus you get to be rusty. :smiling2:

                  Cheers,

Thanks all! - hopefully I can resume my benchtime - I'm actually looking forward to the the Cold War Fighter theme I'm beginning - I actually found another model that may qualify - the Special Hobby Airacomet - in RAF colours ( as tested at Farnborough )

Plenty of warnings about side effects , most of which are distressing, rather than dangerous & some advice on diet. I will go back for another blood test in a few weeks' time to see how it's working. Doc says that it's fairly common as you get older. I feel a lot happier now that I have a diagnosis, so I'll see how it goes with the iron! ( so, it's now 10 different types of pills a day )

Glad you have found out what it is. Iron deficiency is really bad. My wife lost a lot of blood during an operation and her iron levels crashed, she couldnt talk, remember things or even walk in a straight line. In hospital for a week on an drip.
