I so happy for you that you are able to see again, and are on the mend after your op.
My left eye has Fuchs Dystrophy which is getting progressively worse, so basically I see with my right eye, with a little depth perception from the left.
It does make close up work like modelling a bit challenging, but at least I can still see.
        All the best Chris.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

            Hi Chris
Fuchs is a degenerative disease which creeps up on you over time, so I have actually been losing the sight in that eye for a few years now, so over time I have learned to adapt. My right eye takes over and I don't really notice the loss of vision so much.
The only remedy is a cornea transplant, and with a very severe shortage of donors, the likelihood of being eligible while I still have vision is extremely low.
I do wear specs for modelling, and sometimes two pairs, and have a large illuminated magnifier for the really fiddly bits.
To be honest, I can manage so I'm not complaining.
I'm very pleased however that you were able to get the lens that you needed.
            All the best
            Garry
