No ways am I going to Vancouver, I'd need to hire a C130 to transport it all back.
Strength isn't about what you can do, rather it's about overcoming what you thought you couldn't do.

So another case of Dave Ward being a bad influence on me.....or more likely a lack of backbone on my part......

After I posted my acquisition of the Eric 'Winkle' Brown book, Wings on my sleeve, Dave recommended this, which I managed to pick up for just over £5 second hand......

I think I will Dave.....I'm just over halfway through his first book....COVID is giving me plenty of time to read.....and it is very enjoyable. I wasn't expecting it but I've found his work on transonic flight particularly interesting. In many ways he's lucky to have lived to write the book. I've lost count of the number of times one of his colleagues died in testing in one way or another.

A genuine thanks again for the recommendation.

Other than the WNW, there is nothing that I couldn't get delivered at home, more the pleasure of being in a physical shop and having the box in your hand.

If you are enjoying Vancouver don't whatever you do, check out the real estate prices. A small apartment in the region would require you to ask Elon Musk to contribute to its financing.

Ha ha thanks John. Yeah I have been made aware by the 'locals' I am working with. Think I'd be happy living within a few hours drive. Definitely could not afford to live too close to that shop!

Great haul!! Does the 3D printer chap do 1/72 British and German fighter pilots for seating in planes?

I have several in the stash that don't have a pilot/crew.

Unfortunately not, he prints sets in 87th, 76th & 72nd, most nations of ww2, drivers, tank riders, officer sets etc..... funnily enough i got y 3D printed various pilots too, and they seemed ropey compared to the US figs
