An armed trawler! A long time since ICM did a 1/350 floaty thing. That's a nice surprise.............

The Royal Navy used armed trawlers a lot in WWII, especially in the North Sea as convoy escorts - the German Navy was no different. Trawlers also did minesweeping & submarine net guardships - anything that didn't need a proper warship!
