    Leonardo is a major Italian defence contractor, which has taken over SIAI Marchetti & Aermacchi & the M-345 is a development of the S-211 trainer ( looks a little Alpha-Jetish! )

      Leonardo is the current name for a conglomerate that includes former companies like AgustaWestland (previously Agusta in Italy and Westland in the UK), Aermacchi and OTO Melara. All very convoluted and confusing if you try to read up on it …

        Westlands, Yeovil, Somerset, was renamed to Leonardos a couple of years back.
        Still see the Apache, Merlin and multiple other helos doing their calibration checks...
