    What Magnifier Please?

    Hello again folks,

Have just completed the cockpit assembly on the 1.32 Spitfire and felt quite chuffed with the result. Weathering, detail etc. until I downloaded some high res. pictures. Although the resolution was high I am dissapointed with the close up view in as much as there are many defects such as rouge colour marks and missed bits etc.

Fortunately not too late to put right as I hav'nt fitted it to the fuselage yet. What I need is a magnifier to aid my ageing eyesight.

What do the majority of you guys use, an illuminated magnifying lamp or a headband type and where is the best place to get such a thing as I notice that prices vary by as much as 100%. I should mention that I use vary-foculs for general use.

    Thanks all. Pete.

          That would be this one.

Nearly as many solutions as posters I'm afraid! I think there is a concensus that whatever you go for it should be hands free.

          Cheers
