Sorry Bob, can't help. I very rarely upload directly and share from a photo hosting website.

That's ok......but I don't have to resize it first..... Which can sometimes be be an issue.....IIRC resizing can strip out some data....e.g. the rotational info.

Maybe in the download or the subsequent upload by the rotational info is lost.....

my android phone, an older Nokia 6.1 I always use landscape mode for photos and I can upload from it no problem.
i do however prefer to copy pictures to the computer, if I need to crop I use paint.net, I convert to a sensible size using Microsoft Powertools v0.53.1( you select file in folder , right click , select resize and you get this popup

Are you uploading pictures you took in landscape (wider than it’s tall) or portrait (taller than it’s wide) orientation? It only seems to go wrong with the former, is my observation so far.

Thus has been happening to mine too bob . I reckon andrew has hit the nail on the head , its only started happening since ive had to resize the photos .Hopefully when the auto resize gets turned on again we’ll be ok .

Thanks for the compliment, although I was only repeating what someone else said on here on a previous thread on this topic....it might have been Jakko but I can't be sure....
