Peter,
you realise, of course that you have wiped thousands of poundsworth' of value off a very rare Roman artifact? Dedicated to the God Cattus Calceus dating from around 250CE. ( Or of course, Woolies in the late 70's! ).

Not quite its got a long history it was given to me in early 90s when I lived in Devon and in 2002 I moved to Kent the 7 years later back to Devon and 4 years on back into Somerset and been here ever since.

I must admit that until I looked at the painted version I had no idea what the sculpture was?
