you could try this book on the apache. not sure what its like though and if it has the pics/info you need.
if not, i know there is a book comming out in the new year on the apache. its being done by an apache crew who are both modelers so there will be plenty of detail shots. although im pretty sure they fly the D version.
My Walkaround book on the Apache should be out in March and it has a side-by-side comparison of the A model and D model collectives
I have the new hasegawa 1/48 Ah-64D in the JGSDF markings with the eduard detail set which i will be starting soon. so any tips along the way we could share would be interesting.
all the best.....and welcome to the forum!

what exact details do you need? there arent really many pics out there on normal search engines but i might be able to help you.

Many thanks for the Osprey website, have had a look at the book on the Apache, I just want some general views and what colours are required, from the book it would seem that the overall colour is black, is it Matt, Silky or Gloss, some pictures of the control panels lit up would help a great deal.

hmm
to get a scaled down colour i would get tamiya's XF-63 "german grey" and add a bit of XF-1 "flat black" untill it gets a bit of blackness to it. this really give a nice scaled down black colour and is also good for a realistic tire colour.
take a look at my AH-64D cockpit first in normal flat black then re-done in the "scaled down black"

Richard.
Many thanks for the help with the cockpit colour, I was thinking of using a really dark sea grey, but your advice on mixing the german grey and flat black looks just right to me.
How long has it taken you to do the AH64D !!!

it taken a few weeks, even with the eduard p/e set if you just chucked this kit out on your bench it would fall togeather and end up complete!
still got quite a bit to do though!Comment

If the cockpit is anything to go by, it should be a terrific model once completed, any chance of some pics when it is complete.
To everyone on the scale models website and in the forum, may I wish you all a happy and prosperous New Year.
