Happy birthday to the forum ! Its nearly thirteen years since i joined , wheres that gone? Dont know anything about Facebook but I dont imagine its anywhere near as good as here . Thanks john and ian for all your hard work keeping this fine forum going.

Well,it`s a Double Bubble as far as i`m concerned.......
Celebrating the fact that it`s this fantastic Forum`s Birthday,(.... and thanks to ALL involved for that:thumb2......
.... But ALSO,at around 14:00 hrs today i Became a Grandad for the first time :fearful:!!....
This evening i will mostly be celebrating,Drinking Whisky,eating garbage and acting WELL below my age!! :smiling5::smiling5::tongue-out2::thumb2:

Well done for getting to here, long may it continue.
I find that forum membership has changed over the years, from long term members who really got to know each other to a more transient membership where people use the knowledge base to find what they want to know, then disappear as quick as they appeared, hopefully, I'm one of the 'old guard' - though to be honest, I tend to swap around a few fori, being more active for a while on one or two, then swapping round to another.
