Hey, i was looking at eduards extraparts for Mosquito (tamiya) when i saw they dont sell it. Can i use the part for airfix or is it other brands that can offer me extra parts like eduard?

If the kits are truly to scale the parts from the upgrade sets should all fit, but no guarantees.
I have certainly used PE upgrades meant for Tamiya on Dragon models and for Dragon models on Tamiya, but I tend to only use some pe. -

I have no experience with either of the plastic kits or the etched parts for them, but in general: it depends. Some parts will fit fine, others may be too large or too small. It largely depends on the differences between the plastic kits, probably: if, for example, Tamiya has moulded a part slightly too short and Airfix have the same thing slightly too long, then an etched part for the Airfix kit that goes in this location might not fit in the room available on the Tamiya model. The only real way to know, though, is to buy a set and try it … chances are that you can use most or all of the parts intended for an Airfix kit on a Tamiya one, but you may have to do more work to make them fit than you would if you had an Airfix kit in the first place.Comment
