    So I've finally caught it....

Yep, the dreaded COVID is coursing it's way though my body.....

I had a really nasty cold (6 negative LFTs) a couple of weeks ago that was hanging around for ages but seemed to be finally going the end of last week... And then I started feeling funny Sunday.... Tested positive this morning.....

So far just like a very nasty cold, as most people have experienced. Unfortunately my wife is still just testing positive, so we're having to be creative about isolating and sleeping arrangements to try to keep it away from the kids.....

The only upside is that if I'm not too sick and am isolating to keep everyone safe.... What will I do with my time???? Just need to persuade my family to move my modelling stuff to Junior's bedroom!!! :smiling5: :smiling5:

    ATB.

I had it a few weeks ago. Even though i am fully jab and boostered up, i still caught it. Felt like dog doo for about a week and it's left me with a constant cough.

Get well soon mate. From someone who has had it twice……I think isolation just defers the inevitable. If the kids are going to get it, then they’ll get it. Chances are you passed it on to them before you even knew. I too had the bad cold and negative tests….right up until I didn’t. It was Covid! Watch out afterwards because it will occasionally hit you like a ton of bricks, completely robbing you of energy. Take it easy and run yourself back up to speed slowly. As long as everyone has had their jabs you guys will be fine.

Thanks gents for support, so far not feeling too bad.

There is another silver lining to this situation....as junior and junioress are in their mid-teens and can be trusted to a reasonable degree in the kitchen, it means my wife and I are now being waited upon hand and foot!!!! My daughter seems to have inherited my wife's "organiser" chromosome and it's quite funny at times to hear her running things in the kitchen!!

                      Thanks again.

                      ATB.

Andrew you and the good Lady have my sympathy.
Like Tim I have suffered , still not tested positive but only tonight started to feel better after what has been a horrible fortnight.
The tiredness for means the coughing was the worst.
Hopefully your kitchen staff will continue to care for your both .

Andrew, you and your good lady take care and get well soon....I believe I just spotted Matron throwing a leg over her Harley so I expect you'll be getting the "square" needle shortly if you aren't on the mend by the time she shows up. :face-with-head-bandage::money-face:
                          All the best, Rick H.
