I’ve had a look around, but can’t find anything. However, I don’t know what the proper name for those sort of gears. Strikes me that to look for what you need, you need to know what it is called Chris. Might be worth dropping Dave Ward a PM. He is a trained engineer and might know exactly what you are after.

OK, just go to www.https://www.hpcgears.com/ and browse about. Or you could email them and ask if they have what you want - if you send them a few pics of your ships they might even offer you a sample...
Another thought - do you actually need gears? I was thinking if the motor had a rubber tyre (model car tyre?) on it's shaft, running against a smooth plastic ring inside the turret, would that work?

How many degrees does the turret need to turn thru ?
If less than 180 you could just use a servo motor to rotate it, like the servos used to raise undercarriage in r/c planes

                          Chris

The other alternative is to use a cheap stepper motor to drive the rotation. I used one on my owl puppet to allow his head to turn.
