We lost our old Calico girl Polly on Mother’s Day. She had lived with us for half her life. I still miss her every day, because she was the most loving cat and had such unusual quirks of behaviour.
It is never easy, but time does dull the pain a little. After our old boy left us eighteen months ago we adopted a bright young tabby queen that needed a home. She carries on some of the quirky behaviour and that brightens every day.
AN HI Tim thank you for your reply yes losein a pet is terrible isnt it an yes i hope we can get another but at the moment jen says its to soon to even think about it cheers for thinking of us

So sorry to read of your loss Chris and Jen. I do know how you are both feeling. Chin up as best you can.

We are probably about to loose our dog in the next few days. She is deteriorating quickly. We'll try and get her into our vets on Tuesday.

She was a rescue dog and has been with us for 11 yrs. She was 3 when we acquired her.
We have had 5 dogs in our time, all rescue. Sadly this one will be our last...... (probably, might be :rolling

              Take care.

Sorry to hear that Snowball has passed, Chris. I hope you and Jen are okay. It's very sad that a four legged furball that has been part of your lives is gone. Just think that its now tossing his toymouse in kitty heaven and wonder whose coffee cup it will land in.

                Richard.

Sorry to hear of the loss of Snowball Chris,

We have three cats, the 'little ole' lady of the house 'Olive', & our feline versions of Ron and Reggie Kray, Milo and Shadow,
all three are rescue cats, Olive came from the local cat rescue centre, a cat that lost her place in a home and became unwanted due to a new born baby coming along...

Milo and Shadow were found dumped in a box with two other siblings outside our local vets barely able to feed themselves, but here we are ten years later and they've all thrived.. (the other two siblings, twin female cats went to a friend of our sons, so we kept the boys..)..they've become very much a big part of our household, and our home wouldn't be the same without them..

It's certainly a horrible day when we loose a loved pet, but you have to celebrate the happy times with them..

keep your chin up old boy..

P.S. Olive, Milo and Shadow send you and Jen some big purry snuggles..
