Yet again, swift service, no fuss and a satisfied customer, Thanks john / SM shop

Got home yesterday to find my Iwata Revolution CR waiting for me, I know this was only shipped Saturday.

Thanks for your friendly and rapid service once again John, it's greatly appreciated in this day and age of online retailers with an 'allow up to 7 days' turnaround, (i know most take less but....)

I've not yet sprayed with the brush, too exhausted yeserday and busy, cooking tidying and trying to find decent car insurance quotes today, but I have checked it and squirted some IPA through at varying PSI settings and have to say, first impressions are good, it's a nice smooth action, and is consistent throughout it's range from closed to fully open.

Weight wise, its heftier than the cheap chinese brush but about the same as the Spraymaster, (which admittedly was an expensive chinese brush, £50 but that came with .2 .3 .5 needle and nozzle setup and three interchangeable cups from tiny to mop bucket)

The immediate obvious difference to me is how smoothly everything is finished off, the internal design of the cup is such that it would seem nigh on impossible to waste even a drop and it's all very well put together.

It's the internal difference that shows in the Iwata to the cheaper ones, you can see where they've been milled out for the cup and emulsion tube meeting point without being 'finessed'

For anyone thinking about one, again I say, get one now while the prices are good, don't worry over the adjustable trigger stop back piece or lack of a micro air adjustment under the cup.

for Modelling you need never know they exist, I have both on the spraymaster and the travel adjustment on the supplied cheapy with the compressor, i've never done anything with either beyond setting them fully open.

I can honestly say they'd only ever be useful for an airbrush artist that would require fine control at the brush during a project where differing spray patterns were required.

Given the apparent smoothness of operation I imagine also that a .3 nozzle etc is not really necessary, i've been using a .5 on the spraymaster and .3 on the cheapy and other than really fine lines theres not much in it.
