    remote control for vosper mtb 1/35

    hello, I'm new here can anyone advise on a remote control unit for a 1/35 scale wood boat I'm building.Click image for larger version

    Hi Richard welcome to the group. You need to speak with boatman, he's our resident remote control ship guy, well he's the one that springs straight to mind. Great guy and im sure he'll be able to help

        I would think that any two channel Radio will do the job. One for motion and one for steering. If you want more to happen, you will normally need one channel per function.

        Need to ask If you wanted a 1/35 scale MTB why not buy the Italeri kit and convert that?

          HI Richard boatman here an yes welcome to the site now first off how many things do you want to get workin ? as then if you say than i can advise you on which R/C system is best for you an Ian as given you some good advise on that kit an may i ask where you hail from as thats make a difference to which R/C stuff you will need as in the uk here where i am most anything can be obtained

          ps on your hull build are you working from a plan ? an Richard i think you should move your build to ships an boats under construction section an if you dont know where it is just ask me as its easy to find an i'll try an help you all i can :thumb2:

            sorry guys haven't been on busy at work. Thanks for the advice.im scaling up the air fix 1/72 scale kit to 1/200 scale.im using the plans from this as i borrowed the plans for originally the Vosper R.A.F rescue launch but decided I wanted a challenge for my first build. I Originally belonged to Redcar model boat club but have since joined Darlington and district M.B.C great bunch of guys with vast amount of experience and as I new comer I need it. lol

              HI Richard sorry but dont you mean you are scalein it down to 1/200 as the smaller the number the bigger it is
