    Julies home and safe

    Afternoon all

Just picked Julie up, the consultant is very optimistic that he's got it all. She may need further treatment but that depends upon the results of the tests on the removed bits. If she's does it will only be moderate, I could kiss him!

Operation went well with no problems, she's gone to bed, totally knackered and of course sore, got a bag of medicines including blood cloting injections.

The pray mat worked for once, thank god, so relieved it hurts lol. Very emotional for us both, so many sadly do not get good news, including my dear dad.

Thanks again for all your numerous messages, posts and kind wishes.

That sort of support cannot be measured, it's been of enormous help and its priceless. THANK YOU all so much.

Glad that all went well and you're home together again.
My best wishes to Julie. Don't forget to bring her a nice cup of tea when she wakes up.

        Hi Bob
Well that's great news, you couldn't have wished for better. I'm sure you are both emotionally drained so now just take things easy and look after Julie.
        Jim

Please, pass my best wishes to Julie and take your time, both of you; it's an endurance team run, not a sprint.

Again far too many good people to individually reply to. Would burn the keyboard out lol

She had a good few hrs kip and made her a light dinner from my menu

Toast or egg on toast. Beans or beans on toast. Egg & chips, chips, beans & chips. Food fit for the god's, what more can you ask for! I am available for buffets!!

To answer Al's comment about sailors, strange just ordered a sea shanty book and a old sea dog, strange but true.

Thank you all, yet again. Very touching and lovely to read.

Julie passes on her grateful thanks, you lovely rabble!
