Hi. Really new here and there is probably a thread about this but I keep get a box pop up about upgrading and do not know the benefits and how it works. Understand the monetary reasoning but there is there any references to discounts available or enhanced perks? Link to an existing thread would be useful if anyone can point me in right direction please.

You get discount from scale model shop (the site host) and are able to edit your posts after posting. I think you get very many less adverts as well, so the browsing experience is better. It’s so long since I was unaffiliated I can honestly remember.

No adverts and 5% store discount on purchases (excludes delivery) are the biggies. Editing of posts is also useful.

You also get the ability to send 'private messages' aka PM in a conversational/email type way. Very handy if you have a particular issue you want to talk someone about and not clog up the forum.
