I didnt expect that......

Our Club had a day at the Medway Show Gillingham....... no comp but you put a 'raffle ticket' next to a build you choose to enter..... i put in for 5 tickets, after raffle they called in results..... this happened.....

Now then, a 1/144th hand painted Su27 Flanker beats 1/32 Lancasters, 1/24 Helcats, and many many others.... I'm kinda blown away lol....and i won 3 raffle prizes!!!!!

To be judged by your peers, and against such high end competion....

Many many thanks guys, imma on a high, i created this..... 3yrs ago, for a club mini comp "Something blue"? Scored 1st place, ok airbrushed the overall grey, after making a cockpit, interals of airbrake, followed a build blog online that a guy printed the digi camo as decals, ... i cut a brush diagonally in a 'chisel' fashion, then 3 night with VJ paints and colours under my magnifyer.... all judges asked if decalled or.... i said hand painted and home spun/created decals.....the majority of compliments was on the execution of my build.......

They said, we took a 30mega pixel pic early in show, and the whole of the host club were impressed...... many after result came up and shook my hand..... WOW!
I dunno..... sometime those quick, fluid, go with it builds are the most rewarding......
