    What's this?

    On the bottom of my opening page thingy is this ....

    'Scale Models Forum would like your permission to enable push notifications'


    I don't know what it means and I don't press such things on my computer until I do.

    Help please.

    A push notification in this case is when the site sends you messages about things going on here, but they appear outside of your web browser. That is, the site can tell your operating system to display messages for you, instead of having them appear on the site itself inside your browser. Think of stuff like “Somebody liked your post” or “You have a new private message.”

    FWIW, I have always refused this for any site that wanted to send them to me, and can’t imagine I’ll ever choose differently.

        Don't really know just saw the option so enabled it, but as Jakko said you will get your browser notifying you of posts etc

            Tried it just to see what happened but turned it off when I had my suspicions concerned

                YES i dint know what it means but i just put it on hold for now in case it was something important but will now turn it off
