    New kits for 2012...

Just started trawling the web for news from The 2012 toy fair in Neurenburg. Still early but some of the producers web sites have started posting whats new after the launching in Germany.

    So Italeri:

Hopefully the best news of the year Italeri have a NEW TOOLING, 1/48 scale JAGUAR Gr 1/3 (there is a God!) Also a new tool STARFIGTER F104 IN 1/32!!!

Sorry Scott (noble) there is also a 1/35 scale PT109 to add to the large boat collection and an Xcraft mini sub in the same scale.

Those are the Two that made me jump for joy, more news here: ITALERI - Modellismo in scala dal 1962

Tamiya are puttig out a 1/35 BSA M20 with rider and a standing figure. Other news is a bit thin on the ground, The 1/48 scale lanc is back as a Grand slam.

I'm off trawling again, more news when I find it, If you find some bring it on and tell us all.

Ohhhhhhhhhhh bugger! I just got a news letter from Italeri. The jaguar I was so exited to see as a new tool 1/48 is not 1/48 but a 1/72 scale........ Great news for those that do that scale but I sulked for an hour when I saw that!!!!

Sorry if any others here got the hots about the news. :-(

No you were correct the first time. It is a 1/48 Jaguar

            Italeri - 2012 : :

think their letter is a mis-print

I'm not so sure. Even Italeri are confused. ITALERI - Modellismo in scala dal 1962 here it's gives as a 1/48 scale. However here: ITALERI - Modellismo in scala dal 1962 it says 1/72. Also has the box top shot on that side.

Only one thing to do. Go direct to them and ask. I will post the reply here. If I get one that is.

                  Dugh!

Thats a very good point you have there. I am a happy puppy again. I see a major increase in the stash soon. It will be fun to see how it stacks up against the Airfix one.

Allyne you have saved my day. Cheers-
