    Future changing name

in america, what we in the Uk know as Clear is called Future.

SC Johnsons are changing it (apparently) to "Pledge ® with Future Shine".

    little report on cybermodeler here:

well i acidently spilt a hole bottle on my laminate floor once, i wiped it all up and it left a lovely shine lol.

oh yes-that's the original purpose. It's an acrylic floor polish that is used for instant shine for lamanated flooring. Its quite old. There was one other product called Mop and Glo here in the states but I have to try it out........

too funny.......... we have oak so I'd be sued by my Wife if I coated it. Not to mention explaining to the police why my son and two cats stuck to the hallway:dancing1:

I'm sure if they realised people used it for modelling, they would do a new label and treble the price!:grinball2:

                Cheers,

Yep it'd end up in tiny 11ml bottles and cost about £1.50 each!

Well that is something i have learnt today. I never knew you could use it on fooring. Damn if i only knew it earlier when my old wooden flooring was looking grim.

                        Howdy guys and gals,

Well good, ya'll got the word "Gloucester" changed to "gloster" and now "clear" to "Future".....finally ya'll are gettin it all right lol.

Oh, by the way, bein from the south, I wear cowboy boots anytime i am wearing footwear. It was a great way to "lose" the wife when we were married and on vacation, I would put on my cut off blue jean shorts with my cowboy boots and tell her i was going for a walk on the beach and I would ask her if she wanted to come.........welll of course she wouldnt be caught dead with me dressed like that so I would walk out the door, kick off the boots, hide them in the truck and go to the beach

The reason I am telling you this is that "Future" aka "Clear" will make a boot look brand new if applied, allow to dry abit then buff.

And yeah, i think ya can use it on floors too lol.

Gentlemen I think we have discovered the "ultimate multi-use product" lol.

                        have a good day,

                        Greg

So where is your wife from then Greg?

I once had a girlfriend from Texarkana, which was when I visited Little Rock, Arkansas, and she was rather fond of her cowboy boots!

                            Howdy Bunker,

My "EX"-wife was from Rison, Arkansas, about 25 miles south of my town, it wasnt so much the boots she disliked as it was me lol. Actually, the combination of a redneck guy wearing cut off blue jean shorts with cowboys boots did exactly what I intended, it kept her from going to the beach with me when we would vacation in florida.

Alas, after 12 yrs, 14 credit cards (credit cards I didnt even know i had) and $43,000 later, I finally had to let her go....she just wasnt working out lol.

But it was all for the best, Life has never been so good for me as it has been in the yrs since the divorce.

                            have a good day,

                            Greg

Greg It does sound like you were much better off without her. With past experience of my parents splitting up they both ended up being happy so i can guess you are as well.
