Our tabby lady Dorothy (Dotty to her friends) was a bit spooked, but is now asleep on the back of the settee. Good job there is only one family around here that sets them off though.

Our 4 moggies are ok, lights on and music (classic fm ) to try to drown out the bangs.

Hi Lordship is fast asleep on 'his chair', he claimed it and woe-be-it if anybody tries to sit on it.

Our cats are fine. We live in West London, so I think they got used to them after the week long Diwali fireworks that went on until 3am evey night.

Not bonfire night here, bonfires are more a summer thing, but we do fireworks for Halloween.
My dog watches them and my cat hides for a bit but quickly comes around.

Our Millie is scared. She thinks the only safe place in the house is the second step down from the top.

Clyde was on the sofa and slept right through it all. Bonnie was out and about and given her nosiness was probably asking the neighbours if she could let off a firework or two! She's back safe and sound and has just had her late supper and b******d off out again.

Normally it's bad here, but for some unknown reason last night the local family who have a display of rockets didn't. Being slightly deaf also helps when some moronic idiot sets a banger off late at night .
It's about time fireworks were only allowed to be used by licenced operators at displays .
