    Thanks Laurie, I think that you might also want to consider Sweden as a possible place for your ancestors.

    JohnSON is more Swedish where as JohnSEN is more Danish.

    A general guide is names ending SEN are from Denmark. SON from Sweden.

      i am ole møller and i`m a real dane,unlike ian lol,and yes found out how to change keyboard setting whilst typing Ian,good luck if your ancester are swedes tecdes(its ok tec danish injoke)

        But we have a similar thing between Jersey & Guernsey. Football matches are like boxing matches & that is just the fans.

        Jerseyman are known as Crappos, just a crab do not get excited not rude. Guernseyman are known as Donkeys, really rude if you are a Jerseyman.

                Actually toads Ole. No frogs in Jersey.

                Also must have had a brain storm the Crapaud is actually a type of toad which only exists in Jersey not a crab as I stupidly wrote. Dear me must sort the grey matter. We actually have a Crapaud living in the greenhouse at the moment, toad not a Jerseyman, although there is not much difference ?????
