    Which DSPIAE nippers?

    Hi all

As I really have no more space in the stash for new kits, I'm looking at improving my tools of the trade for this great hobby.

So I have heard great things about this nippers ever since they were launched, even allowing for the fact that they're not cheap. I know a number of people on here highly recommend them e.g. Tim Marlow , BattleshipBob and Ian M . The question is which ones should I go for? Christmas is fast approaching after all!!

I see John has the EN-A @ £29.99 and the ST-A 3.0 @ £43.49. £30 is a lot to pay for nippers and as for £43.........:anguished:, albeit I have found them cheaper on a certain website but are they fake?

In short are the ST-A 3.0 worth the extra money??**

    ATB

    Andrew

**I know that DSPIAE's are not for heavy cutting and you do not 'snip' with the tip as with most cutters!

I also have the ST-A 3.0 and they are the best tool I have bought in years, well worth the money in my opinion.

        +1 on ST-A 3.0………
As to cost, they are around the RRP cost of a decent kit. You will build the kit once, eventually, but these will be used for every kit you make after you buy them. They really are as good as we say……

Oh, and there is a patch on the packaging that logs into the DSPIAE web site and tells you if they are fake or not. Packaging looks different to when I bought mine though, so it may no longer be the case. Don’t know the difference between the ST-A or EN-A, maybe a question for John, or a bit more web research.
