That looks like a very nice sub.
Engel kits are very good but depends on the builder.

Well the Kit itself is well proven and all the bits that make it go are common between most of the Engel subs including my own. Yes it very much depends on how it was built, though the limited pictures do show a degree of neatness and the paint work is far from amaturish, and the ballast foam is neatly shaped, which are all good signs. The seller has collected some bits and made some upgrades so he knows what he's doing too. I'd ask for more piccys to satisfy yourself. The only bit the would be difficult to correct is the prop shafts if they are not level or off axis as the carriers are bonded in and theres no getting to them once built. Everything else is fixable, it not quite right.Comment

Some good advice there - I'd also suggest trying to see if you can get high resolution copies of the photos, that way you can zoom right in and get a better idea of the finish and workmanship, maybe ask if he took any photos of the build too - Most proud modellers do!Comment
