I actually have seen wartime photos of the krauts loading a JU 52 in this fashion, as crazy as it seems......it apparently works.Click image for larger version

Not crazy, but the timber bulks in your photo are substantially thicker than the ones in the kit.

So the folks that did the box art skimped on the ink and those that made the molds skimped on plastic....at least the method of loading is sound :thumb2:

Will they ever run out of variants or upgrades of this particular vehicle?....I do believe there's a kit for every type ever built and then some! Small wonder why Mr. Bob switched to floaty things....who can keep up with all this?

Looked on Scalemates earlier and found 130 assorted StuG kits in 1/35. Hard to get excited over yet another one!

It's o.k. Dave, at this rate they'll have to start giving them production numbers .....just like the real ones and of course, you could also use the dunkelgelb method of telling them apart by which "shade" they are....and then there would be the subvariants' identified by the "early" or "late" shade of dunkelgelb :tongue-out3: ...Taxi!!

Must admit the interior looks good on that Stug. However, unless miniart have improved the quality of the plastic they use, all those fine parts will simply be an exercise in pure frustration as parts break time and time again.

Don't fancy being the bloke standing between the planks if the bloke on the back of the truck decides to get a few rope burns when the barrel slips.....
